Reza Alizadeh, M.D.

Dr. Reza Alizadeh is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of diseases of glaucoma and refractive cataract surgery with advanced technology. He is also an active member of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Alizadeh was a board-certified ophthalmologist in his home country Iran before completing a two-year glaucoma research fellowship at the Stein eye institute, UCLA. He then completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Arizona, where he served as chief resident and was a part of medical missions to rural Mexico.

He went on to complete a rigorous fellowship at the Havener Eye Institute at the Ohio State University where he received advanced training in Glaucoma, including medical, laser, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and incisions glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Alizadeh is a true supporter of scientific advancements in improving patient care and was one of the first surgeons to use the new multifocal lenses in Arizona during his residency. He has authored dozens of peer-reviewed articles and has presented in numerous meetings. He is excited to share his many years of training and expertise with his patients to achieve the best possible outcome for them.

Dr. Alizadeh enjoys spending time with his wife and his son. He is an avid movie lover and sports fan.
