Droopy Eyelids

Droopy Eyes Stockton | Manteca CA

What are Droopy Eyelids?

Most likely, your eyes are the first thing people notice about your appearance. They are probably the most important aspect of facial attractiveness. Unfortunately, even with a good night’s sleep, loose skin over your eyes or bags under your eyes can make you look tired or sad, or older than you really are. As we go through life, even if we have taken care of ourselves, the skin around our eyes stretches and wrinkles. Fatty deposits cause the upper lids to sag, while under the eye the tissue bulges forward and becomes discolored. In severe cases, vision can become partially blocked.

What Causes Droopy Eyes?

  • Age
  • Sun exposure
  • Alcohol use
  • Smoking
  • Poor nutrition
  • Heredity

How Does Central Valley Eye Medical Group Treat Baggy Eyes and Droopy Eyes?

  • Whenever appropriate, we are rescheduling patients with fever, cough, or cold symptoms
  • We have adjusted our schedule to decrease the number of patients in our waiting rooms
  • We have increased our already strict sanitizing practices
  • Whenever appropriate, we are diverting visits to telemedicine (by cell phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop). Please contact us for further details at 209-952-3700.

If you are unsure whether to come in for your visit, please call us.

Following state guidelines, the doctors at Central Valley Eye have recently resumed performing elective surgeries. Our surgery coordinators will be contacting patients to reschedule the surgeries that needed to be postponed. We appreciate your patience during this time.
